I don't want to forget the way he shoves food in his mouth with wild abandon. Or how he can point to his tummy, hair, ears, nose, and feet, and can clap his hands, stomp his feet, spin around, and blink his eyes all on command. I want to remember his goofy lip-biting grin and his new-found awkward intentional-underbite grin. The way he taps his thumbs together to ask me to sing The Itsy Bitsy Spider or pats the front of his head for The Grand Old Duke of York.
He's such an affectionate little boy. He hugs everyone - even through the computer on Skype. Even baby goats at the petting zoo (I'll get to that in more detail later). He sneaks up on you in bed in the mornings to cuddle your face...for no reason other than that he wants to. And he's just learned to wave 'bye-bye' to the Husband in the mornings. He is his own little person, and is becoming more of that person every day. I don't want to miss any of it.
